While deer can be dangerous for drivers, pedestrians don't often face the same problem. Well, except for this runner.
SEE ALSO: Relatable deer is already sick of holiday shoppingA herd of deer rudely interrupted a cross country race in Pennsylvania on Saturday, directly hitting Gwynedd Mercy University runner Justin DeLuzio.
Someone can be heard yelling, "Watch out for the deer!" just seconds before the DeLuzio is clotheslined and knocked to the ground.
"Oh shit," says one runner who continues with the race after witnessing the poor kid getting blasted off his feet.
According to a race recap, DeLuzio's teammate Matt French stopped to help the runner to his feet after the accident. DeLuzio finished the race with French at his side.
"DeLuzio was very bruised up from the collision but fought through the remainder of the race with French right along with of him to make sure he was OK in a true showing of camaraderie and sportsmanship," the race recap reads.
Eric Bologa, an assistant coach for Frostburg State University, filmed the incident and uploaded the clip to Facebook on Tuesday, which has since racked up more than 186,000 views at the time of writing.
