Dongfeng-owned Voyah said on Friday owners will have access to the constantly growing AI database in its latest Zhiyin electric crossovers via over-the-air updates starting Feb. 14, making it the first production model that will support the latest version of the home-grown AI startup.

On the same day, Geely’s premium EV brand Zeekr said DeepSeek’s so-called R1 reasoning model has been integrated into its AI Eva voice assistant and will soon be available to customers in conjunction with the latest generation of infotainment in their cars. Zeekr vice president Jiang Jun said the move would enable Zeekr cars to provide information to users and connect to vehicle controls in a more personalized and proactive way.
