995 ArchivesWalking Dead and some of your other favorite shows are about to get a lot more digital.
Skybound Entertainment, the company responsible for TV hits including The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Deadand Outcast,is opening an in-house studio to expand its original digital content offerings, Mashable has exclusively learned.
The new content will range from creator and influencer interviews to show and gaming rundowns.
"The main thing is – we really want to connect and converse with our fans, especially our Skybound Insiders, in order to give them more access to the creators and the stories they love," Mike Cruz, Skybound Entertainment’s Director of Digital Programming, said. "That’s why they visit us at the booth at the conventions, and engage us on social media, and come to signings. So we want to be able to give everyone more content and reward them in ever increasing ways for being such a great audience."

Cruz said the company knew after moving to a new building in April of 2016 that they "wanted to be able to have a space where we could always pop up some lights and cameras and shoot something with our creators and guests while they are in the building."
Already, the company has started to use its studio bar space to continue filming the Skybound Happy Hourseries, which launched last fall.
Also coming up: A weekly update series called Out This Week, which informs fans about which comic books will be hitting the shelves, what new merchandise is out, what’s been happening on Skybound TV shows and other news.
"We have a lot of things coming down the pipeline over the next few weeks," Cruz said. "We’re going to be ramping up weekly live streamed content with a combination of interview series and games of Superfight, Red Flags, and other Table top games we work on. We have a weekly show for our Skybound Insiders that will be featuring road trips to see the behind the scenes of our sets, toys, comics, games, and more. And then there’s a few secrets. There’s always a few secrets!"
The first episode of the second half of Skybound Happy Hourgoes up on Feb. 12. The episode will feature the team making cocktails inspired by the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead.
