Launched in 1998, the cereal filled the bowls of children across the country for nine glorious years. Then in 2007 it disappeared from U.S. stores due to "organizational changes" (per a Post spokesperson), only occasionally cropping up for resale on Amazon and eBay. Now, its coming back for good.

According to the spokesperson, the cereal's relaunch comes in response to continued calls for its return.
"Even though Oreo O’s have been off shelves for a decade, consumers were constantly asking for it to be brought back through Facebook groups," he said. "Even an online petition was started calling for its return in 2015 through Change.org! Needless to say, we heard our fans loud and clear."
Here's to hoping 2017 Shia LaBeouf reprises his role in any upcoming Oreo O's TV spots.
