Trump was probably referring to the weekend's cold open, which featured Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon in a send-up of the second presidential debate on Oct. 9.

Posting on Twitter, Trump called for the sketch comedy series' cancellation and reiterated his "the media rigged this election" argument -- but stopped short of threatening the show with jail time. He also attacked Baldwin's impersonation, saying it "stinks."

That last point may be the biggest untruth of his 2016 campaign (then again, maybe not).

Anti-Trump Twitter took note of the Sunday morning foot-stamping and gamely responded. Apparently, some voters feel that a comedy show's topical jokes are beneath the concerns and complaints of a U.S. presidential candidate.
