Now this is Married Woman Fan Club (2020)homework we wouldn't mind doing.
The days leading up to the SATs are usually spent by students pouring over notes every minute they can. However, for one middle school, their weekend homework had absolutely nothing to do with studying.
SEE ALSO: Boss teacher pranks his fourth-grade class with the most absurd spelling testJohn Newport, the Headmaster at Marden Bridge Middle School, sent a letter home with the students taking the test in which he encouraged them to spend their weekend doing things that had nothing to do with studying, like "seeing friends" or "going for a swim."
Eliza Lawson, a parent of one of the students, posted the letter to Facebook in which she praised the school and the headteacher for their dedication to the students.
She captioned the photo, "lets all share this and show Marden Bridge and Mr Newport how much we value teachers that see our children as growing people, not numbers on a page!"
Some of our favorite assignments include "laugh until your tummy hurts" and "have more ice cream."
Mr. Newport ended the letter saying, "If you feel you have to, you may revise BUT you can only do this for a maximum of one hour total." He also reminded students how amazing they are and that he was immensely proud of them.
We wish Mr. Newport could have been our principal.
