The White Nude Taken Downtrouble with online video games is that there's always someone out to ruin other players' fun. One Grand Theft Auto Vplayer found out how to get payback -- literally.
After getting fed up with other players blowing up cars in Grand Theft Auto V's online multiplayer mode, Aaron Reynolds documented on Twitter Tuesday an ingenious way to troll his trolls, Kotaku noticed. Reynolds suped up a car enough to value over $1 million...and then insured it. That forced the car-destroying culprits to pay him as high of an insurance premium as possible, hurting their wallets in retaliation.
He named it Operation: One Million Dollar Car (or O1MDC for short).

Here's how it went down:
Players who blow up insured cars are forced to pay around 1.25% of their worth as a premium to replace them, so making the car super expensive was crucial to Reynolds' plan. Blow up insured cars enough times and that really starts to add up for aggressive trolls -- and also make them avoid you.
Realizing he needed a new guise, Reynolds created a brand new, extra-gaudy car that would cause the griefers just as much monetary pain as his first car.

Reynolds enjoyed the small revenge he was getting on his trolls, but then things really amped up.

His aggravated enemies were, according to Reynolds, waiting for him at his in-game house. Truly terrifying.

Reynolds didn't reveal his fate after his face-to-face encounter with his trolls, but it probably resulted in at least one person's death.
On Thursday, Reynolds updated the world on his escapades, revealing that his counter-trolling efforts had been themselves counter-trolled. His good-natured habit of picking up other players in his cars turned sour as his frustrated trolls began getting in and instigating fights with the police and then running away.

Maybe Reynolds should start locking his car doors from now on.
