For a guy who’s supposed to be Hole in law (2020) Watch onlinereally good at swimming, Aquaman sure has some strange ideas about swimwear.
Like, who the hell wears jeans underwater?
SEE ALSO: Aquaman is even more of a bro in his solo movie than he was in 'Justice League'At Comic-Con Saturday, star Jason Momoa acknowledged the pitfalls of wearing pants while swimming.
“It was a bad choice, looking back, to wear denim. They look like leather. They’re not. They’re wet, 20-pound denim. Bad move.”
Momoa recalled one day on set when director James Wan kept telling him to do a certain jump “cooler,” and Momoa had to tell him that there was only so much he could move in soaking-wet denim.
“I did tell you to take your pants off,” Wan replied with a smile. “A lot of your fans would be happy aout that.”
Fortunately for Momoa, Aquaman does get out of those wet clothes eventually – though he never goes completely naked, as far as we know.
In footage screened exclusively for Hall H, Aquaman is shown in a version of his classic scaly orange-and-green costume from the comics.
How’s that for appropriate aquatic attire?
