For many people, child sex video Donald Trump's victory at the U.S. presidential elections came as a shock.

Ex-President Richard Nixon wrote a short letter to the president-elect back in December 1987 after his wife and former first lady Pat watched Trump on Phil Donahue's TV show.

"I did not see the program, but Mrs. Nixon told me you were great,” Nixon said in the note, which emerged in Michael D'Antonio's biography of Trump published last year.
“As you can imagine, she is an expert on politics and she predicts that whenever you decide to run for office, you will be a winner!”
Nixon write by hand "Dear Donald" at the top of the letter, signed it "RMN" in blue script and underlined the word "great".
The letter re-surfaced after the Archives Foundation tweeted it in the light of Trump's surprise victory.
During Donahue's talk show, Trump expressed his views on the Reagan administration, saying things had gone "really bad" for the Republican president:
“Well, I’m a Republican and the Reagan administration was doing a great job for the psyche of this country after we went through the catastrophe previous to that, but the last couple years have been really bad for the Reagan administration, unfortunately,” Trump told Donahue, according to Buzzfeed.
Trump is not the only leader the Nixons successfully predicted.
In April 1972, Richard Nixon took part to a black-tie gala at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa for his state visit in Canada.
The event was hosted by Pierre and Margaret Trudeau and after the show Nixon gave a champagne toast during a buffet meal.
“Tonight, we’ll dispense with formalities. I’d like to toast the future prime minister of Canada—to Justin Pierre Trudeau," he said.
Were the Nixons time travellers? Who knows.
