Debbie Speranza from Sydney, Australia found herself in quite an extraordinary situation with five other women wearing the same dress at a wedding, purchased at the same clothing chain — Forever New.

"You really should start a bridal registry so that your customers can enquire whether anyone else has purchased one of your dresses for the same event," she wrote on the chain's Facebook page on Sunday. Too good.

The item of clothing in question is the "gorgeous navy blue" Debbie Lace Pencil Dress, listed for A$159.99 (US$128) on Forever New's website.

Of course, this situation wouldn't be an issue if they were a bunch of dudes wearing the same navy suit, which is what one commenter pointed out.

Still a pretty hilarious situation, no doubt, and a good reminder that buying from a big clothing chain likely means you'll encounter someone with the same outfit.
