An analyst from KGI Securities told Macrumors that the expedited shipping can be attributed to better-than-expected production since shipping began.
According to the analyst, Foxconn has addressed several bottlenecks in its supply chain that were leading to shortages in LTE antenna components and the dot projector module of the TrueDepth camera. As a result, iPhone X production has increased by 27%.
