Fake or Dead Againnot, there's a lot of news these days and with so much of it ripe for comedic commentary, Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update" segment isn't enough. The network confirmed Tuesday that it has ordered at least four episodes of a Weekend Updateprimetime series to air in the summer.

Weekend Updatewould air on Thursdays at 9 p.m., hosted by its SNLanchors, Colin Jost and Michael Che. NBC has previously ordered extra Update episodes, though usually tied to a presidential election.
The episodes will begin airing on August 10.
