What would it take for you to drink a beer that's been chilling in the fridge for 32 years977 Archives
One man put a Coors in his fridge in 1984, promising he would open it the day the Chicago Cubs won the World Series.
So last night, after the Cubs' victory over the Cleveland Indians in Game 7 of the World Series, he kept his promise.
His family, adorned in Cubs gear, cheered him on while he cracked open the beer.

"My grandpa put this beer in his fridge 32 years ago and said he would open it when the cubs won the World Series," his granddaughter wrote on Twitter. "Today was that day."
The man's son made a dramatic speech and encouraged him as he cracked open the beer and poured it into a Cubs mug, naturally.
"I think you should drink it, and die a happy man," his son told him.
However, the beer unsurprisingly didn't smell great, so he wisely didn't have a sip.
Just in case the Cubs keep their lucky streak up, we recommend grandpa puts another Coors in the fridge now for next year.
