An adoring giraffe got a little too close for comfort during a news broadcast earlier this week.
Ashley Jacobs,Watch Wet Men And Women Online a reporter with CBS 8 in San Diego, delivered a report Monday about the Zoo Food, Wine and Brew Celebration, a zoo gala and wildlife conservation fundraiser. But while we're sure this 9-month-old giraffe cares about that issue, it cares more about proving his devotion to Jacobs, its best new human friend.
Yes, physical touch is certainly this giraffe's love language. And Jacobs's co-anchors, who do not have to endure the unwanted nuzzles of a giant mammal on live TV, thought it was hilarious.
So are Jacobs and the giraffe actually friends? We're not sure. They might need to discuss this incident over tea and a few giraffe crackers.
Fortunately, Jacobs doesn't seem mad or anything.
