Data parts! Seven of Nine! A whole entire Borg cube! Plus that card game at the end. What is even happening here?! The only thing that's missing -- and it's majorly disappointing, I'm not gonna lie -- is Jean-Luc Picard's dog, revealed in the series first poster.

That's OK, though. There's plenty of time to meet the pup, who apparently goes by the name "Number One" (omg). This trailer is everything a Trek fan could hope for -- and more, really. There are so many surprises in there.

More to come too, apparently. Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis -- who played Will Riker and Deanna Troi, respectively, on The Next Generation-- will be making appearances on Picard. Though as you probably gathered from the trailer, there's a new crew on board.

It's a whole lot to process, and Star Trek Twitter is busy losing its shit. Please enjoy the excitement.
