Months after Twitter users collectively lost their cool over the original Sonic design, they're now rejoicing to celebrate the new one and at long last everyone seems genuinely excited for the movie.

Sadly, because Sonic took a while to get his glow up, the Sonic the Hedgehogmovie release date was pushed back. The film which was supposed to be released in November, but will now come out on Feb. 13, 2020.

The setback isn't ideal, but director Jeff Fowler is happy the team took the time to perfect Sonic and make fans happy.
