The Korea ArchivesGame of Thronesprequels are coming, and number one starts filming in October, reports Deadline. The series is based on a story by George R. R. Martin and series creator Jane Goldman.

"From the horrifying secrets of Westeros’ history to the true origin of the white walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend…it’s not the story we think we know," HBO stated in June.
The series will begin filming in in Belfast, though it could incorporate other locations, as Thronesis now famous for doing. Thronesalso films a significant portion of its episodes in Belfast, so it's kind of nice to keep things in the fam.
The Long Nightis expected to premiere in 2020.
