Specifically, Trump hit back at actor Robert De Niro over his pretty succinct slam of Trump during Sunday night's Tony Awards. In retaliation, Trump not only pulled out the intelligence insult, but he also dusted off his favorite ploy: nicknames!

"Punch drunk," like boxers, because De Niro was famously in Raging Bull. Get it? Though "Punchy" falls short on the quality scale as far as Trump insults go. It's not "Lyin' Hillary" or "Crying Chuck."
I doubt De Niro is going to lose much sleep over this, though, and, just for fun, here's his hit on Trump.
How no one has looped that into one of those 10-hour videos of him just saying "Fuck Trump" over and over is beyond me.
