The Apple Watch Series 8 is expected to be announced at the September Apple event (among other new gadgets), which can only mean one thing: The Apple Watch Series 7 just got a price drop.
As of September 7, the Apple Watch Series 7 (41mm, GPS) is just $299 at Walmart — that's $100 off its MSRP and within $20 of its lowest price ever. While price drops generally tend to favor a specific color, this deal encompasses the full spectrum: blue, green, midnight, red, and starlight.
The 2021 Series 7 model saw some notable cosmetic upgrades from the Series 6, as well as expanded features. The impending Series 8 will likely see some as well (a new S8 chip, body temperature sensor, and more health tracking are expected, according to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo). The Series 7 got a bigger, curvier, and more durable watch face display, USB-C charging architecture that allows it juice up 33 percent faster, increased support for biking and e-biking, fall detection, an always-on altimeter, an emergency SOS function, and more.
The new Series 8 model is expected to start around $400 like its predecessor. So if you want to keep an extra $100 in your pocket, we'd suggest snagging this deal on an Apple Watch Series 7 while it lasts.
