There's always a level of unpredictability to live broadcasting. And for one Channel 4 reporter that reached new levels this week.
Gary Gibbon was reporting live from Washington D.C. when a woman wearing an M&M's box hat started dancing in the background while holding a banner reading "Black Candy Matters".
It was impossible for people to focus on the report (it was about the eagerly anticipated meeting between Theresa May and Donald Trump in case you're wondering) as they speculated about why the woman was trolling the broadcaster:
